This memoir gives you a first-hand account of life changing experiences involving the death of a loved one – walking you hand in hand through detailed events along this path. It takes you through the emotion, turmoil, bodily changes, and love that are exemplified when sickness rears its head, and also shares various revelations with you regarding profound and unexpected solidifications of continuity beyond this world.
The story is being presented to you as an example – a window into transformation. The words contain pain and grief but are not meant to focus on those aspects – and then the scenes flow further into open-hearted recognition that something larger exists. A soul transformed into something else, and that soul’s life on earth was just a part (or chamber) leading up to the next, larger section of growth. The story is meant to provide you a gripping example of how life’s challenges are part of a bigger assemblage of structure.
The larger structure at play is The Nautilus Effect – a philosophy painting the picture of incremental growth patterns from one event or life (chamber) to the next – eventually giving rise to a much larger, multidimensional structure which represents the true nature of being. The being is the sum of its incremental parts, not any one single part itself.
You might recognize this philosophy to summarize where you are, as a human, at any point in your life – you are the sum of your life’s experiences until now. The good, the bad, the ugly – those are the elements that created the “You” who you are today. But that is only part of the picture, as The Nautilus Effect is this, and more. As we weave through this life and become a sum of our own parts, and as we pass through life’s barrier at the end of our life and transition into the next world – this ends one “chamber” and begins yet another – the beautifully cumulative result compounding on all of our prior experiences (and lives) to create our true being. Death is just a wall we pass through.
But, The Nautilus Effect is even more than that. As multiple experiences and lives build on one-another, the picture becomes larger and multidimensional, with chambers that juxtapose and influence surrounding areas, flexing with growth and immeasurable transitions – something beyond what we can properly envision in this three-dimensional world. But this is another story.
All of our lives, life events, milestones, moments, seconds and even breaths are part of this enigma that becomes our cumulative being that is so much more than this linear, earthly life.
But while we are here, in this earthly life right now, it’s these single moments that create us, mold us, define us, and transform us – whether they are ups or downs – into something bigger than before.
The following story is an example of one of the many possible “chambers” that our beautiful life provides – our tsunamis of life. These momentous experiences can transform us in ways we can barely comprehend in this world.
